Hi, I’m Poppet
Meet Poppet - our tiny black and white Cattle Dog mix with a huge heart!
At just 5kg, Poppet is a pint‑sized pocket rocket full of love and personality. Her adorable smile comes out anytime she's excited or feeling cuddly.
Poppet is learning all about life beyond the property and is doing wonderfully with gentle guidance. She's very people‑oriented, happily following her humans around and always hoping for a snack.
She loves playing, wrestling, and chasing her foster dog friend. She's only just met a cat, but with slow, positive introductions she may learn that feline friends are okay too. Poppet is great with calm, patient children who understand she's small and still adjusting to the world.
She can be a little vocal when excited or herding, so ongoing training will help her learn when barking is appropriate.

- While our shelters are open, not every pet available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. To express your interest, Apply to Adopt online and if it's a perfect match you will be shortlisted and contacted via phone by our Adoption Team to discuss the animal in detail.
