Hi, I’m Max

Max is an affectionate young boy who thrives when included as part of the family. He is best suited to a home where he can live indoors and feel safe and secure. While he can be a little unsure at times, he recovers quickly-with some yummy treats and gentle reassurance from his people, his confidence grows steadily.
Max loves leaning in for gentle pats and affection. He already knows his sit and shake and will thrive with continued training and mental stimulation. Snuffle mats are his favorite, and feeding his meals through a variety of enrichment activities keeps him engaged. He seems like the kind of boy who would enjoy figuring out more challenging enrichment puzzles.
When introducing him to the outdoors, allow Max to settle in and bond with his people first. Start walks in quiet areas and slowly introduce him to new environments, as he may have missed out on some early socialization. He didn't show much interest in toys yet, but once at home, he may start playing more. Max would do best with older, calm, and respectful children, as he can become easily overwhelmed. This quiet, thoughtful boy is ready for a loving home that appreciates his gentle nature.
