Hi, I’m Christie
Christie is a scrumptiously sweet and sensitive little lady who is still learning how to walk on lead and may find many ordinary things in the world a little extra-ordinary. She can feel unsure in new situations and will need a patient, understanding owner who is happy to give her time to settle and build confidence at her own pace.
Christie may never be a bold, confident dog, but with kindness, consistency, and gentle encouragement she is likely to continue growing in confidence. She will benefit from simple daily structure, keeping her world small to begin with, and avoiding too much exposure all at once.
She would do best in a quiet home away from high-traffic, busy streets and is not well suited to apartment living. Ongoing basic manners training and a stable routine will help her feel secure.
Christie would be best suited to a home with older children or teens who understand when to give her space and allow her to approach on her own terms.
