Hi, I’m Barney Rubble

For those of you who recall the cartoon show The Flintstones, you'll remember Fred Flintstone's side-kick neighbour, Barney Rubble. Barney was a good hearted and practical individual, and a good friend to Fred. So too with our Barney Rubble here at the RSPCA. He's a sweet little gentleman who loves chin rubs and chicken, and not necessarily in that order! Barney can be nervous in new places to begin with, but he warms up quickly and loves to lounge on a cat tower over his domain. Barney Rubble is very social with other cats and would love to have a cat friend to spend his days with, but he loves human attention just as much and would be perfectly content being the only cat in the home.
